This Week's Goal

So, I haven't written here in a while! lol

I want to lose 8lbs this week. I want to finally break 200 after two years of going up and down between 15 lousy, miserable lbs. I can't do this anymore. When I started this journey of trying to lose weight again I weighed an incredible 220 lbs.

I am now down to 208 and still trying to go strong. I'm eating/cooking more at home or bringing my lunch to school and I'm trying to work out everyday. This week was the exception as I simply did not have time to go several times, HOWEVER next week it's on. 8lbs is a lot, but I think I can do it. There is a job fair on campus on Feb. 15 and I really want to have lost 8lbs by then. That means eating ridiculously healthy, crazy portion control, working out until I can't stand anymore and trying my best to lose as many millimeters around my waist as possible. I think I can do it. :) Once I set my mind to it, it typically gets done if not rrreeeeaaaalllllyyyyy close.

Anywho, I'm done babbling for now. It's kind of nice to journal. I haven't done that in a while.

A Plateau

So, this sucks. I've been doing great, avoiding fast food, cooking dinner, exercising daily and I've gotten down to 189lbs... and now I'm sick. I feel miserable...I don't feel like cooking, and I definitely can't workout without feeling like I'm going to pass out. So I've been on a plateau for days, chillin' at 191lbs steady. And I feel pathetic.

Dear sickness,

Go away!

It's a new dawn, it's new day, it's a new life... and I'm feeling good!

So I'm starting a new slate. I've been very disappointed in myself because I've allowed my weight and health to get out of control. This new year, and esp this semester, I'm refocusing. New numbers, and new goals.

Goals:
192lbs by January 14th - Going shopping for NYC
188lbs by January 21st - Going to NYC

What I'm going to try with this blog, unless the girls object, is to document my food intake and workout sessions to track my success. So here goes:

January 8th
Breakfast: 2 turkey sausage, egg, and chesse muffins; a Special K bar; cup o' coffee
Lunch: Leftover Orange chicken with Yellow Rice
Dinner: Sweet potato fries; Wheat, no fat english muffin w/ butter & jelly

January 9th

Time For A Change!!!

Okie so last night Kerianne and I made our goals for this summer because we are both tired of not being happy with the way we look. So we broke out our planners and here's what we came up with:

  • By June 20th - lose 10lbs (Reward: Birthday outfit for me & new choos for Keri)
  • By July 18th - lose 7lbs more (Reward: Pedicures!!!)
  • By August 15th - lose 5lbs more (Reward: ?)

In the broad spectrum, we want to lose 22lbs by the time Summer Band starts on August 16!! And then we'll continue on from there. I know we can do it! I went grocery shopping last night to get healthier food and we have a workout regimen: at 6pm every MWF we work out for at least an hour. So this evening after work and practicing, we are hitting up the gym!! I already brought my workout clothes with me. We actually really excited about this. We're going to be looking HOTT by winter that's for sure!! I can't wait!! haha OKie well that's all for now. We work in the office all summer so I'll keep updating our progress.

P.S. Hannah, I know you're going to be in Houston all summer but you join our plan! Make some goals for yourself on our dates...it's helps to have a support system instead of going at it alone. I know you're going to do great! We all are! It's time for change!!!!

And remember: "What doesn't kill us, makes us HOTTER!!!" hahahaha

Wow! I've been...not good this semester. I can't do this anymore! I have got to lose this weight, my career depends on it!
This summer I am going home for my summer job, and I am going to focus like I've never focused on losing weight. I have no reason to NOT do it! I don't have the money to go out and eat like I did last summer or THIS SEMESTER! I want to look good by the time school starts next semester and I would like to look AMAZING by the time I have my recital in the Spring of 2010. That would be wonderful. =D

Okay- well that's all I got. I'll post all of my weight, height, etc when I actually start losing again. Until then, I've got to focus, focus, focus on getting through school this semester!

'til next time!

Girls' Night!

So yesterday Kerianne came back into town and we went out to lunch at Chili's. (Don't worry we were both good about what we ate...I got a Chicken Sandwich which was 9 pts and Keri got the Margarita Chicken but LITERALLY only ate half). It was soo funny. The only bad thing that we did enjoy was the Chocolate Brownie thing for dessert....mmmm. After work we went down to Conroe, jammin' to some AWESOME music (Aerosmith ROCKS, I don't care what 'bank guy' says lol). We did some healthy grocery shopping and then each drank 2 glasses of Blush wine, ate leftovers for dinner and watched "The Women". OMG good times!

We went into McDonald's to rent the movie and talk about temptation....mmm those fries smelled AMAZING and I was so hungry but we both stayed strong! lol

So Kerianne is also dieting and I've invited her to join out blog, so WELCOME KERI! lol I'm going to teach you how to cook!

Today I was pretty good. I had a small cup of NON- starbucks coffee for breakfast and then a panini for lunch. Not too bad. Tonight I'm cooking Pepper Steak and Keri's coming over and we may partake in some more wine.

So I got my refund today, so I think I'm going to go purchase a scale and a George Foreman Grille (that thing is AMAZING!) I'm excited about that. I'm really liking this whole cooking thing. It's fun and kind of liberating...AND I'm pretty good at it, WHO KNOW? lol

BTW, Hannah, I love and miss you soo much and can't wait till you come in tomorrow. On Saturday, we're going to see "Bride Wars" and you're butt better be there! lol

Luv ya,

*Kiersten*
